Cuts and grazes

This is very common after a walk in the country or park. Your pet's leg may become skinned showing a raw, red surface.

  • bathe the wound with salt water (1 teaspoon of salt to a pint of warm water)
  • if your pet licks the wound excessively, cover the wound with a sock or light bandage
