Easter Treats

We know chocolate isn't good for dogs and cats, so here are some ideas for safe treats you can give your pet this Easter.

One of our favourite toys to give your dog some fun and you some peace is the new Soniks range from Fetch Pet Toys. This is a range of squeaky toys that only a dog can hear, it's brilliant, we've tried them and the dog goes mad for them but all you hear is an escaping puff of air.

The Soniks ultrasonic squeaker produces a sound with a frequency range between 25,000 Hz and 35,000 Hz, above the audible range of human hearing, but well within the hearing range of dogs. The Soniks range includes five characters in different sizes for small, medium and large dogs.

And if you're often travelling with your pet, or just out walking in the heat this summer, you might like to get the Hydro Bowl from the same company. This portable water bowl folds into a compact triangle for easy storage and snaps around a lead with a strong popper fixing. For cats, there's a great new toy that will give your cat hours of fun and you a lot of laughs watching him play. Powered by a small fan, these bugs come alive and circulate around and around inside the jar. And if you think your pet doesn't really need an Easter treat, other than a long walk or a nice stroke and a cuddle, perhaps you'd think about donating the cost of an Easter egg or two to an animal charity.
