Hi, my 10 month old lab is shedding so much we are in danger of being buried in hair.
we have changed his diet to a meal with Omega oil in it and that appears to be helping.
Can anybody suggest the best grooming tool please?

I use a metal toothed "deshedding comb" I think it is called, on my families Husky and it works great!

Hello!
Rubber ZOOMGROOM's are really good as are rubber hand mittens for getting rid of shedding hair on short haired dogs.
Also, your dog is possibly losing his puppy coat and getting his adult coat through? Or maybe just having a pre summer malt!
As long as it's shiny and healthy looking then I wouldn't worry healthwise!

Can I feed human omega-3 capsules to my dog? I found a list of mercury free sources of omega-3 here: http://www.metabolismadvice.com/omega_3_fish_oil/. But it is a list for humans and wondered if it made any difference.
