Introducing new pets to my dog??

Hi, i live with my partner and our two year old bitch Jack Russel called Tilly. We are currently thinking about adopting a new kitten and are a little worried about introducing them to one another as i am afraid Tilly may be a little possesive (she loves her dad, lol) causing her to be aggresive towards the new addition.

Do you think it is a good idea to introduce a new cat? If so, any advice on this?

i took mine to friend house she has old dog and 2 kttens both heres and my dogs where fine but i think it depends on the dog
