I like to take my young Labrador to the pub too. As yet I have not had the courage to take him in, he is 10 months old, so I tie him up outside, go in and get my drink, and then we share a bag of crisps whilst i enjoy my beer in the pub garden.
The trouble is he barks and cries loudly whilst i am getting the beer.
Any suggestions out there how I can stop him? It is the only time he cries when left.I think the best thing would be to take him in to the pub and see how he reacts to the situation.


Good idea but all local pubs serve food so ben is not welcome. he is getting better. I have takn to taking my wife as well. She sits putside and calms Ben. This is also helping my marriage as we now spend more time together talking!!!!
