My dog Rocky was diagnosed with Fox Mange a few weeks ago .He was given a Steroid injection and put on Antibiotic and Steroid tablets. He calmed down within twelve hours of having the injection but as soon as he finished the course of tablets he started licking his paws again. The Vet gave me a repeat prescription of steroids for him but no improvement after a week.I took him back to the vet ,this time he was given a steroid injection but to no avail. In fact it is getting worse instead of better,I am also bathing his feet in salty water to try and improve the situation. Can anybody give me some advice to stop my best friend from suffering so much?

Hi...new to all this but just had to respond.A friend has a 2 year old lab with the same problem. They went down the same route as yourselves but everything came back. He has just had allergy checks 3 weeks ago and they have found he is allergic to meadow grass, dust mites and 2 other things which I can't remember. They now walk him in a different area to the fields he was used to and that has helped but have yet to make him an all over suit for the house! May be worth an allergy test.
Hope you get them sorted out though.
