I love this virtual giving idea

Just read the news story on the PDSA virtual gifts. What a great idea. I hate buying the secret santa gifts at work and now I've asked three of my colleagues and they agree with me - we're going to buy lots of bandages instead - if we get enough people on board we might buy one of the larger items jointly and just enjoy our christmas party without all that hassle and waste of money on plastic tat too.

Ahh - that's sweet. I'll ask my office if they'll do it too. Last year I got Ann Summers underwear!!!! Helping a little cat or dog is a much better idea.

Glad you liked the idea. I think it's better to spend our money on good causes, especially during the credit crunch, than on things we don't really need or like. I wonder how many members we can persuade to do this. Email us if you get your office to do this instead of Secret Santa and we'll keep a track of how much money PetHealthCare readers have donated to PDSA.
