I have a gorgeous 6 month old cat (see profile pic), I found him at a building site when he was a kitten half starved to death, he had no collar (there's loads of strays around here in Dubai, and I mean loads), I looked after him and he's had his shots done now and he's as happy as can be,
but a few days ago he started making funny noisese, instead of 'miowing' he makes this nosie as if he has a really bad throat, its not a ncie noise!
He is eating all his food and drinking his water, we let him out and he runs around, he comes and sits and plays with me and is urring away, only thing is this noise he now makes,
could he have a cold or maybe a sore throat?
Or should I take him straight to the vets to get checked out?
thanks all....

Cats can get colds I think, but also respiratory tract infections like chlamydia - it sounds like you should take your cat to the vet's to make sure. If he needs antibiotics you want to start them quickly before the infection gets worse - if it's just a cough he can advise you on how to cope with that at home too.
Hope he's better soon.
