My boxer dog, Chica, 8 years old seems recently to be leaking urine every now and then, although she still is able to urinate well when on walks, etc. She has been spayed (as a puppy) and from what I've read up so far this might be a cause of it. The leakage itself is not usually bigger than, say, a small plate, but obviously I am concerned this might worsen. Does anyone have any advice? Added to the problem is the fact that she HATES the vet - she is very scared and always tries to bite him/her, so I don't want to take her there unless it's a last resort (having said that, though, I do want to get her better). If anyone can help me with advice/suggestions I'd be very grateful (as, too, would our vet...)

Sorry I can't be of much help but here is a link that may give you info:
http://hometown.aol.co.uk/puddle321/solvingIncontinenceinapetdog.html
or as a last resort you can actually get nappies for dog incontinence
http://www.dog-nappy.co.uk/faq.htm#WhatareDogNappies
Hope that helps a little
