Hello , I have a great dane puppy that I take care of. Since he is a large puppy it seems that his play is to aggressive. Others feel I should punish him for it. Is possible for a puppy that is 3 months to show purposeful aggression or is this just play? Help , I don't want to do the wrong thing. I also don't want to have a LARGE AGGRESSIVE AND DOMINATE DOG ON MY HANDS. thanks Rhonda

Hi Rhonda
I think you have to channel his play into acceptable games. All puppies play agressively but you're right that in a large dog this could quickly become a problem. Has he got a cuddly toy, a football or a tug toy that you could channel his play into? Could you teach him to fetch a stick or a frizbee or a ball? This is quite tiring play for the dog so might tire him out and give you a chance to sit down in the evening.
