A live hamster has been found dumped and thrown out with the rubbish in Brighton.
The hamster was found by a resident of flats in Chadbourne Close, Brighton on Sunday, 4 February. It had been left in its cage by rubbish bins. Sadly, a dead hamster was also found in another cage in the pile of rubbish.
RSPCA Inspector Jodie Moss was called to the scene. She took the hamster to a vet, where he was checked over and found to be healthy.
"It's outrageous that someone can just throw out a living creature in the rubbish like this," said Inspector Moss. "This poor hamster would certainly have died had he not been found."
Anyone with any information on who dumped the hamsters can contact the RSPCA in confidence on 0870 55 55 999.

Its so unfair that people should get away with this, all animals deserve to be loved and cared for properly.
