Manchester Dogs' Home is eager to receive last minute nominations for the coveted 'Dog of the Year' award.
The title is awarded to dogs who have demonstrated outstanding loyalty or bravery or who have performed a great service to a person or organisation.
Dogs from all over the country are eligible to enter. The winner will be awarded the title Dog of the Year 2000 ad will receive a framed certificate, an engraved dog bowl and a rosette.
Nominations should be sent to Dog of the Year, Manchester Dog's Home, Moss Bank Road, Harpurhey, Manchester M9 5PG. Tel 0161 205 2205. The closing date is July 2000.
